rail alignment

I re-felted a table, installed new rubber (K66) on a Kasson pool table. After reinstalling the rails and doing a 3 cushion test from corner pocket around to the other corner pocket, the cue comes off the second rail sending the cue ball close to the side pocket or beyond the side pocket. Doesn't matter if I'm aiming at the 2nd diamond or 3rd diamond the cue still misses its intended diamond out to go head towards the corner pocket. I have tested this from all four corners with the same results.

Are you a pool table mechanic?

Check your nose height all the way around the table .

Check exact dimensions of the play surface from the noses.

Table

You have to use the proper degree of running english/top side spin on the CB to correctly shoot the pocket to pocket 3 rail shot..

Are you sure the table rails are squared up? If you are not careful you can end up with a parallelogram.
