rail cloth tightness

WGCP

JUST ANOTHER DAY
 I played on a diamond both at skeeters here in Gulfport MS, and at a friends house. Both tables rails seem tremendously faster than my olhausen champ... I noticed that my cloth on the rails themselves did not seem as tight, could this be the reason that the speed is so different? Or is it just a diamond rail thing?
I do have 860 on my table and I believe both of the diamonds were 760... Could this be the reason... I need help... I hate to lose because of practice patterns on the olhausen are killing me on the diamonds... I predominatly play one-pocket and pocket speed banks are sooo important...

the rubber is so soft on the olhausen if you try to get it tight it will dimple. this is the reason I don't like the accufast cushion. Also Diamonds have artemis cushions.

Cloth is also a factor.

There is also a noticable difference between 760 and 860. This would be a factor as well.

If the Simonis cloth on the Diamonds is blue, it's 860, the tour blue is not available in 760;)

I'm sure this is not an intelligent question....but what is the difference between 760 and 860?

John, 860 has a higher thread count per square inch, thereby making it a little thicker and just a little slower than 760. And to answer your PM, yes, we'll take care of your table this weekend.

Glen

so which cloth would you recommend? And you won't be able to get to it until this weekend?
