A local pool room owner recovered his own table with Simonis .The table came out fine but the rails look like you are looking down a serrated steak knife. His comment was "it will smooth out with play, all the tables looked like that when they recovered them"
It is next to impossible to run a ball down the rail with out it kicking out.One of the local players asked him to try & he did not.Banking has also been affected ball go every which way when they come off depending on the part of th ripple you hit.
Will they ever correct them self ?? I think I already know the answer but ,I just had to ask.

Maybe in about 20 years. Seriously though, he need to take the rail off remove the staples and put new staples in and this time without pulling so hard.

what he got the pockets cut right?

Hopefully he didn't use....too many staples!

I'd hope he didn't use too many staples  IMO staples are over used and very hard on the rails -- using glue and a few staples would be my preference :D

3m doublesided tape expensive but sticks good ... lol thats one I realy havn't tried But I do know it realy works on Glass.

Believe it or not depending on the make of the cushions they could possibly mold themselves with the ripples, Whoever covered your table didn't do it correctly. It needs to be fixed! It is possible for the ripples to come out but that usually means your cloth will sag on the rails. The cloth will relax over time but if it is installed correctly and stretched laterally. It will remain taught and will not show any ripples in the cushion rubber. I would get it fixed soon...
