Yrs ago in downtown Los Angeles, Lou Butera had a retail business selling billiard equipment.
I was in there one day late 70's to meet up with em and see his business.
This was before Sal's game matured.
Lou had a 5x10 table for sale $25,000 if my memories correct.
It came with 3 complete different top rail set ups/detachable in minutes.
One set was snooker.
Next was pockets.
Third set was 3 cushion.
Pretty cool to see a table like this.
This made me wonder, has anyone ever done on surface/overlay rail inserts for Nine footers to make it a bar table?
Meaning..... you'd be able to lay a rail system on to the preexisting surface to make it a 7'.
