Rail problem identified

I have determined my rail problem is
the rubber itself. Everything else is
straight. Even with the cloth off the
rail rubber is not straight.

I would like to get Artemis rubber as the
replacement but an concerned about the
correct profile as well as if the Tournament
cushions worth the extra cost.

Also I could not find an Artemis web site.
Does one exist?

Thanks a bunch for any insight anyone can offer
on the rails or the facings.

Believe I mentioned defective cushions was a possibility in your other thread.

Regardless, there's just 2 profiles for Artemis - K66 and K55.

Measure the top side of a cushion and also the height of the face of the subrail
where the cushion is glued to (see pic below). With that we can tell you which
profile to get. You will also need a quart of 3M-10 Scotchweld for installing new
cushions and facings. Only a few online retailers carry both FYI.

Here's the artemis website - http://www.artemis-kautschuk.de/en/billardbanden.php

Very helpfull

Dartman,
Thank You for your quick and informative
reply. I'll have to study the pic some to figure
out what I am looking at.

It's the subrail face that the cushion glues to.
1 5/16" and a top cushion measurement of 1 1/4" would be K55
1 3/16" and a top cushion measurement of 1 1/8" would be K66
