Hello! I just picked up an old AMF Grand Prix 9ft table pretty cheap. I would like to replace the top of the rails because the veneer is all dented from 30+ years of play. Is this possible, and how would I go about doing this, and where can I find the parts? PLEASE HELP!????

Thanks!

I looked at having it done on an old gold crown. From what I hear, the laminate can be peeled off with a heat gun and then new pieces of laminate could be installed. I think there were a few posts about this over the years...

Do you have any idea where to get it?

Its just standard laminate like on countertops.

Any home improvement store will carry a limited selection of Laminate. Im sure there are online retailers that carry hundreds of designs/color.

Might just be me, but these links just take me to the photobucket page. I think you might have copied and pasted the links not completely.

The veneers on a table are typically formica, so you should have no problem finding what you need at any home improvement type of place that has countertop materials. The tricky part is doing the rail sights-

As I read on I was wonder when someone was going to say this.

So that may answer my question, I assume the veneer isn't available from the manufacture or aftermarket?
