Rails being Reconditioned

Finally after over 1 1/2 years of living with F'd Up Rails and Pockets I'm having my Rails Reconditioned by Ultimate Billiards. The Rails went off today to their shop, I'm having them put in new Extended Sub Rails for 4 1/2" Pro Cut Pockets (No More Shims, Yea), New Brunswick Superspeed Rubber and recovered with Simonis 860 Camel color cloth. They should be ready in a few days to a week, will post more photos when they come back. At this time not planning on recovering the table bed as that cloth is barely over a year old and still in great condition.

Newly installed Simonis rail cloth combined with 1 year old Simonis bed cloth (even in great shape) isn’t recommended and may play a bit strange for the first few months, but should be fine after that.

Least of my worries! My table originally came with K55 Rubber and then 1 1/2 years ago I had some dead rails and sent the rails in to DFW Billiards to be redone and that A__Hole cut the old rubber off and then recut the angle for K66 rubber, well in doing so he cut too much wood off of the sub rails, and he didn't make the pockets 4 1/2" like they were originally so I had to have a different Co. come to try and fix the F. Up sooo they put K55 rubber back on the rails even though it was the wrong angle for K55 and they Shimmed the pockets to 4 1/2" but did a terrible job of trimming the shims to fit the rails and cushions, anyway the shims sucked and made the pockets play terrible, I couldn't tell you how many thousands of balls have hit those shims and rattled in the pocket and not gone in! so I've been dealing with this nightmare for over 1 1/2 years. The new cloth on the rails will wear in eventually so any problems there will fix itself in time whereas the problems I've just described were not ever going to get any better!!
 
Table is back together now and is playing great! Ultimate Billiards did a great job on the new Extended Sub Rails! Pro Cut Pockets 4 1/2" Corners and 5" Side Pockets. (No More Shims Yea) The Logo on the Table may say Olio but it is barely an Olio anymore, Brunswick Drop Pockets, Superspeed Rubber, Simonis 860 Cloth, Gets more like a Gold Crown every time I have some work done to it. Balls are going into the Pockets Clean now, no more rattles!! Of the 3 Table Mechanics I've used on this table in the past year and a half I would Highly recommend Ultimate Billiards over the other 2 that will go unnamed, Fast turnaround on the rails, picked up on Monday and work completed and table back together in 2 days!!!

Better measurement photo of corner pocket. Others had glare from the lights off of the metal ruler! This gives a better idea of the pocket size!!
