What years did Rambow work for Brunswick?
What details to look for in identifying a Rambow Brunswick?
Any select models that he can be attached to?

I believe that Herman Rambow worked for Brunswick from 1925-1950

As far as Rambow identification, unless it is obvious with the flourish writing, it may have to be authenticated by one of the Rambow experts like Paul Rubino or Joel Hercek.

In the history section of this forum, and on our museum website,
we have a great deal of information on Rambow and his career.

In the history section, look for the threads titled: " the legend of rambow"
And " rambow the grand father"

On our website www.chicagobilliardmuseum.org goto the section called
" billiard companies " for a timeline of events in his life.

Herman went to work for Brunswick as a teenager, about 1894 or so.
In about 1921 he went solo for a few years, but by 1925 he appears to have returned
to Brunswick full time.

I have much respect for the man but i'm not positive that Joel would be much help, maybe so.

For sure Deno Andrews can authenticate Rambow cues.

Deano is definitely the other expert for Rambow authenticity, but he is a little more $$ than Paul Rubino.
Like I've mentioned before, there just isn't a lot of information out there about Herman Rambow.
You have posted more about Herman that you can find searching and reading the encyclopedia, Blue Book etc.
I read that in 1950 Brunswick forced him out and let him take his equipment with him, then he opened his shop in the basement of the Keefe & Hamer building.
I've got a few old cues and a piece of chalk, but not much info.
