Rambow cue authentification?

I have a friend who is thinking about buying a cue he is told is a Rambow. Is there anyone out there who would be an "expert" at authenticating one? I think I heard once that Deano Andrew was one. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

One of my players is a very old cue that came to my area via Chicago. Most people believe that it's a Rambow but I have never tried to pin it down because I didn't know where to start !!
