I've only heard of this model. Never seen one till now. 2 shafts, dead straight needs a refinish but a pretty neat old cue. Tossed up on if it's for sale or if I'm sending it to proficient for a makeover.

Meucci

Meucci made some cool old cues back in the day. I really think Bob Meucci had more influence on cues than anyone will ever give him credit for. It is my opinion that he brought cues to the masses and gave us all someone to try and emulate. I remember as a kid seeing a Meucci with a pro's name on it and thought it was the coolest thing ever!

Thanks for sharing, this brings back memories.

For those of you that asked this cue will be for sale in the next couple days. I've gotten some (but very little) info about it. The Earl Strickland line of Meucci's never went into production. From what I've found there were possibly 6-12 of this model ever made so for a Meucci from any era it's pretty darn rare. Anyone else who has any info to share regarding this cue please post it or PM me with it. I will be PM'ing those who showed interest in buying the cue when I list it.

I currently own the cue so you probably want to hear it from someone else but Scott at Proficient Billiards can replace them. Also Ryan at Meullers (Rat cues) here on AZ.

The green in the rings is veneer material not plastic and not cracked so it's just the black plastic that needs to be replaced. Either of those two are more than qualified.

I hope someone who appreciates it for what it is wins it and gives it a makeover. I think the cue deserves it. Good luck should you or anyone here decide to bid.

I have already bid. It's no use this early, but just running it up there early for you so people won't think they're good at $400 with an hour to go. This thing won't slow down for a while. I just hit it at $560 again.
Even with the imperfections that thing will fly to $1200. I'd say it hits 1565 and dies.

I guess we'll see tonight. It's quite a ways away from your numbers but we will see. I won't be upset if it goes for its current price or much higher. I can only hope it goes to someone who will give it a makeover. Good luck if your a bidder at the end.
