For sale is a Jerry Franklin-era rare Brazilian rosewood predate SouthWest cue -- completed in 1990 -- with three shafts, old micarta ferrules, custom SW joint protectors, a letter of authenticity from Laurie Franklin.
The cue measures 58 inches and features six points of maple into a Brazilian Rosewood forearm with red, black and white veneers.
It is incredibly difficult to find a SW with a Brazilian Rosewood nose. There were only a few built.
The cue is in excellent condition as seen in the photos. Two of the three shafts may have a hair of a taper roll and that's pretty much it. The butt is straight and is free of dings, scratches, marks, etc. The cue had been refinished once.
