This is a rare cue for an Ernie Martinez. First, Ernie is very allergic to Purple Heart wood, and has to wear Hazmat type protection to work with it. Second, Ernie has only made a few piloted steel joints. The joint is a true pilot and it gets tight when you get to the last few turns, just like a Tascarella. Short ivory ferrules. Enjoy!

Another really sweet cue. Ernie must really like you to work with purple heart again and on top of that a rare but really well done piloted stainless joint on a full spliced cue to boot. Congrats! That thing has to hit not just sweet but amazing well.

Good shooting to ya

I've never been a big fan of PH, but this cue i can resonate with. The colour of the PH isn't gaudy and well...not too purplish, infact it's nudging brown from what i can see in the picture. The overall set up is nice, Ernie's cues plays real good to begin with so i'm sure this cue ain't no exception. I've always been a fan of how he details his butt too. ;)

Even my extreme hatred for Purpleheart can't stop me from loving the looks of this cue. Bad-azz design and execution. Nice choice of joint, too!!! ;)

Congrats on a sweet little honey of a player!
