Thanks Phil. I thought he meant because the ferrules have chalk on them or something. Which, as we all know, Ivory ferrules can easily be wiped off.

And I appreciate your kind words about the cue. It does have a special hit for sure. Pretty amazing in the fact that the Ivory sleeved joint is actually threaded onto the Brazilian rosewood. Provides great feedback and has a special ping type sound to it.

At $2250 shipped I am losing. But that's what the market is these days. I haven't seen many Tascarella Merry Widow cues over the years. I want to say I've only seen three. And they certainly were nowhere near as extravagant as this one. This cue has a very nice symmetrical look to it.

About it being 60", I've always had 58" cues. This was my first 60" cue and I will say that I'll never go back to a 58" cue. Every cue I own from here on out will be 60". It's nice always having your hand on the wrap as you stroke without having to grip the butt sleeve or curl your hand around the bottom of the cue. Plus the extra two inches helps with longer shots. It's a win/win.

Someone is going to be very satisfied with this one. Not saying that because I'm trying to sell it, I'm saying that because it truly is a gorgeous, well playing cue. A true players cue.
