Ratcheting Wrench for Diamond table legs

Anyone tried these? It's the nuts! Especially when setting tables up, I hated having to move the wrench over and over. This lets you ratchet them quickly.

I have the craftsman, and it uses almost all of the slot to ratchet, I am going to try an Alden wrench when I can find one, they only need 30 degrees to ratchet.

About 15yr old design.
Ya they work really good, but not on assembly lines. They wear out.
For you guys I'd think no problem.
This okder design works good too and last forever.

I been using an Alden since they were invented in like 2010. Offshore in my pneumatic panels….mine are double sided ratchet 3/8-7/16", 1/2-9/16", 5/8-11/16

They don’t slip if your not square like every other ratcheting box end and they are stainless.

I have some proto ratcheting flare but wrenches as well (line wrenches) and the Alden gives them the rainbow.

fine tool I highly recommend the Alden’s.

They are not for bolt breaking applications fwiw lol.

This open-end ratcheting wrench was “The Bomb”, when loading bombs to a B-52 aircraft clip-in back in my AF days. After hanging the bombs to the rack (heavy duty hooks) and ensuring it’s hooked, and locked and centered, you then used the ratcheting open end to run the sway pads down to the specified turns after seating them all to the bomb. It made life so much easier! I can see it being very useful to table mechanics setting up alot of Diamonds.

Yeah thats what my protos look like. It’s called a ratcheting “line wrench”

They are fine in semi tight spots but not as much as the Alden in very tight spots like a pneumatic panel. That and they can kind of be a little goofy but it is a very nice tool. I can get more torque than the Alden with them so they do have a place in my bag
