Hi guys,

I have seen a TON of great looking, and incredibly well executed designs from Jerry -R-.

Can anybody give some feedback on how his cues play?

Thanks!

Exceptional Playability!

IMHO -R-'s cues are 2nd to none. At the moment, the best hitting cue I have is an Ebony Hoppe Bfly of Jerry's with a Lizard Belly wrap, it has a 5/16-14 piloted SS 1/2 Joint ;) but, I'm anxiously awaiting my new 26 1/2 with an Ivory joint with a radial pin which may be even better :D

I had heard only good things and also looked at how amazing his cues were and so I ordered one loaded with ivory....here is a couple of pictures for you. It is also going to have ivory barbells in the points, ivory joint, ivory ringwork at the joint, ivory ferrules....

the ringwork in the butt, barbells, boxes are all ivory also....

I'm very excited if you couldn't tell!!

My daily player is a Rauenzahn Birdseye plain jane with ivory half joint, 3/8-10 pin, and SW style ringwork at joint and butt, leather wrap, I havent found anything I like better, I also have a matched predator and a non matching ob-1, and I really like the combo of ob-1, ivory joint, leather wrap and sniper tip. My next cue will be a little more fancy with some nice points, ivory joint, and leather wrap. I am curious to try a g10 jointed cue, Here are a couple of pics:

Hey, Mike

I just picked up this cue from Golfparent:

The full splice (John Davis) with the 1/2 ss joint gives one of the best hits I have experienced. Another reason I got this cue is that it is balanced more than 20 inches from the butt, which is my preference. I love this cue.

Hey thanks for the input so far guys. I really appreciate it.

I'm sure there are more of you that have one of -R-'s cues, and I would love to hear your thoughts.

Special thanks to those of you that posted pictures as well. You are some very lucky guys!

DJKeys cue used to mine ... I also have - R- Titleist conversion cue and a nice fancy sneaky pete.

I think my first - R - cue was the Titleist conversion and was impressed enough to buy few more. Very reasonably price cues that plays pretty good.

I have a collection of Mr. Jerry Rauenzahn's cues. I currently play with a Tribute Brunswick model 26 1/2 that hits fantastic. I have NEVER, and I mean NEVER seen points done any better than Jerry builds. His points are crisp, even, and you can't find any glue lines in the veneers. Also, where else can you order Cortland wrap? His shafts are premium clear white and solid.

I'm greatful to know the man.

His work is unbelievable, especially when you consider he's been at it for nearly 40 years.

Also, Mr. Jerry is one of the nicest guys to talk to regarding his cue work. He will deliver your cue in a timely way and surpass your expectations with his quality work. He currently has 5 or 6 of my cues in progress and we're about to set up another 3 or 4. I can honestly recommend Jerry's work; and have had a great time playing with his cues.

John

I've owned and played with alot of cues, most about double the cost of Jerry's. I highly recommend his cues, reguardless of cost.
thanks-jeff
