This is only the second cue like this Jerry has ever made in his long career and the only one with an Ivory wedge. The cue is mint with one shaft only test hit and the other a virgin. Ebony and Tulipwood with the spliced points up and down and sharp.

I have never understood the wedge.it looks cool but is there a reason for it(performance wise?) beautiful cue.
 
flat wedge

I have a couple very old Brunswick cues, called model 26 1/2.

My understanding is that you could lay the cue on the table and with the wedge on the cloth press down on the other side of the butt and raise the tip; kinda like its own bridge.

Don't know how practical it might be since other balls would likely interfere and need a pretty open space; but that's what I was told.

Others had the wedge engraved with owners name like the palmer window foils.

Anyway, looks cool.

I have a couple of Jerry's cues; his craftsmanship is fantastic and I personally really like the hit and feel.

Whoever ends up with this cue will have a real player and a beauty,
