Mr. Jerry Rauenzahn sent me some new pics of an order he's working on that has 2 full spliced points with butterflies between that will be wrapless to show off the points and beautiful wood.

Has this been done before as a full splice wrapless??? I know I've seen short spliced cues with wraps like it, but I can't remember one quite like this.

I started looking at it upside down and it really was different

I know how much you love Jerry and his cues,I think he takes great
delight in making them for you,

Keep posting,I always like your cues

Dmitry has done cues similar to this and possibly something just like it if I recall correctly,

This one isn't quite like that but I believe he has done one or two like this. Maybe I'm wrong.

Killer cue either way. Jerry is the master. Can't believe he gets as little credit as he does. Not enough for him, too much for others..

Dean you're right I do take great pride in Jerry's work. However, this in not my cue unfortunately, it already has a home. I'm just sharing his work that is original which distinguishes him from most other builders.

Vintage Style

The cues are vintage inspired; It's very hard to have something totally original, even Jimi Hendrixs was inspired by Muddy Waters among others.
I wanted 3 that showed the simple elegance of yesteryear. Jerry sent me in progress shots of the 3 cues. 2 Ebony, 1 Brazilian Rosewood.
Full splice joints w/reverse butterflies & points. All wrapless with Ivory joint, wedge & matching veneer trim. Will post in gallery when complete.

i was reponding to JK's question "Has this been done before as a full splice wrapless???" which is yes. always like jerry's work, he likes making the vintage style as i do.
