Ray Schuler cues on ebay

For those of you who don't know, Ray Schuler cues made prior to his death in 2002 were signed 'by Ray Schuler'. There are several cues appear on ebay claiming to have been made by him in the 1990s but they bear the mark 'Ray Schuler SLC'. These may be great cues, but they were NOT made by Ray, nor were they made in the 90s. SLC cues came to be upon Ray's passing. Under license by Ray's wife, the makers of the SLC cues continue using Ray's name. If there is an SLC on the cue, it wasn't signed by Ray and it was made more recently than 2002.

Info on thread

PMed you info. If the seller is the same Cuemaster98 on here, That's Duc.
Go to Search, Advanced Search and then enter Cuemaster98 in the User Name
area and hit go and you will be linked to Duc's many fine cues and
comments that can reflect on him as being a man of good character.
I am sure he would be pleased to answer any question you
may have regarding his sales. Maybe he got his information wrong or
maybe there is another answer to the SLC sig. Either way, I do agree
that ebay has some questionable cues listed within it's walls. Good eye.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the information, I will update my auction accordingly.

I don't know much about this Ray Schuler cue...was told that this cue along with other Ray Schuler cues were bought in the 90's. I have several high end Ray Schuler cues available. Check out the image, probably will follow up with SLC to find out more about these if I can. If you know any additional information on these please let me know.

Now the legacy continues: a new generation of designers and craftspeople, mentored by Ray Schuler until his passing in November 2002, are producing custom Schuler Legacy Cues (SLC) for champions around the world. Each Schuler Legacy Cue is made with the quality, passion, and innovation that merits the famous Ray Schuler signature.
