I acquired two Schmelkes in the very ealy 70's. Used them for many years then put them away for many years. I had a few extra $$ at Xmas so I sent them to Schmelke to get a make over. He actually found some of the original leather wrap and 2 joints to match so he could make a coulple of new shafts also. I'm not very good at taking pictures but here goes a before and an after. These have sentimental value to me. He did a wonderful job on the cues and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Let's just say a finger or two. Kudos to Schmelke for restoring my memories.
