I have a predator and was wandering if any Cuemaker can re-tip it or if you have to send it to predator? Also, the Everest tips come standard on a predator so is it best to put another Everest on it for deflection purposes or does it matter? If it doesn't matter, what tip would you recommend? Finally, about how much is a standard tip change? Thanks in advanced.

First anyone can re-tip a Predator Shaft, there is no special procedure like the OB-1 shaft which has a Carbon Fiber pad on the ferrule that the tip glues to, and which must remain there or be replaced before tip replacement.

You can use any type of tip on your shaft, but I would use one that is Medium to medium hard.

A standard tip change can cost from $10 to around $40 depending upon the tip you decide upon and where you are located.
