Only recent problem, by that I mean the last couple of months, is a delivery placed on the front porch during a rain storm. Box was soaked. Contained a very expensive shaft.
All I can do is hope.

I am sorry to know that so many people don't take personal responsibility.
Most would benefit from a mirror rather than pointing a finger.
None of this correlates with any Presidency or political administration. It has been a slow spiral regardless of that.

It has been a slow spiral since Joy was appointed. Some people's attention span goes beyond this week.
I think shipping algorithms are responsible. Delay a flight to unload all deliveries or drop some off and go pick up a higher priority load ad infinitum.Just sent one to Colorado. Tracking said arrived at local destination but then it was sent on to Portland Oregon!! "Package moving thru system, delivery delayed" it said.

It is someone's responsibility to recognize a broken algorithm and fix it. It has been working great for decades, hell, over a century. Somehow in the last 8-12 years the service started rapidly deteriorating after a party who believes in the destruction of the Federal government appointed and approved someone to do just that, destroy it.
Where does the buck stop?
Not a broken or errant one; just a very efficient one functioning as designed.

Went to play pool with daughter yesterday, then saw 28 Years Later. I was fine. Now I feel like I got hit by a truck.
I'll check on the cue later.
May also depend somewhat on the shape of the package. Mine was a square box 3"x3"x 60".
I also had to cover all the gorilla tape I used on one box. Guy said it clogs up their sorting machines or some such. Had to buy a $5 dollar role of packing tape they just happened to have sitting there on the counter for fools like me who walk in.
FYI... Don't use anything other than strapping or packing tape. Roun' hea' anyhoo.
