Really Signed?

Just checked it is the exact same signature as i mentioned.
It is the real deal, it also has the clover on the butt just like the one in the pictures in the ebay link.

Real cue, trust me.

Every pic I've been able to find regarding an M11B doesn't show the signature. Do you have a link or anything that shows this ?

For those who haven't looked, scroll all the way through the pics on the eBay auction. There IS a pic with the McD logo !!!

I am not sure if the signature is real or not. That looks "sharpie'd" in.
The picture of the logo was recently added.

Until THAT pic showed up, I was starting to consider the cue in this auction may have been a McDermott C-1, mislabeled by the seller...

I wasn't gonna tell any of you until I won it

It's a Mcdermott, the wood is correct, the pin & insert are correct for that model of cue, and the chamfer at the butt-end is correct. The bumper might not look right, but that could have been changed at anytime.

IMO, it'd be more trouble than its worth to try to fake this - find a cue or blank with the correct wood, get a pin and insert correct to a McDermott M11B, match the the chamfer on the butt-end ...DO ALL THAT just to make a $50 or $60 bucks and risk getting negative feedback as an eBay seller

..and the kicker, if you look at the listing now there's a picture of the logo.

On the McDermott website, under retired cues, the M11B has that 'goofy', non-McD bumper...

The bottom image in the listing shows a McDermott logo on the butt... That signature looks so sketch though, lol. Maybe email the pic to McDermott and see what they say.

This was a cue of the month model. Same as the standard sneaky they were selling at the time. And yes, they could have done a better job with the printing, maybe just using the month and year.

That particular cue has a screw to hold the bumper on.
Search EBay for a cue named Eliminator and see how much they look the same. I know the one in the auction does have a clover leaf stamped on it.
Still, I seriously doubt McDermott would sign a cue that sloppily.

Something may not be right in the State of Denmark.

Eliminator on Fleece bay.

And now the bid is up to what, $76. I have an Eliminator and ya know what, they are a fantastic trunk cue for the money. They can be had for much less than the fake Dermy.

Yes this is really a Mcdermott

Hey i had two of these with that same signature ,they were the Nov. 2006 cue of the month with that child looking hand (signed) written signature ! After 2006 they continued making a few M11b's but without the signature on the forearm. This i learned from a McDermott rep In 2006-2007 !
