I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this or not. I would like to find a respectable table mechanic that is not out to price gouge and Serves the Scranton PA area. The only one I seem to be able to find is Gephardts in Wilkes-Barre and when I asked them for a price to simply refelt a GC2 they wanted $650 for cheap felt and if I was to buy Simonis cloth myself for them to install they wanted to charge even more because I would not be getting it from them. They acted like they had to take the table apart transport it to and from their shop and reset it up again. Maybe I am just naive but I thought a simple cloth or even cushion change could be done in a few hours on site. I am planning on buying a used table in the January or February and would like to know someone I can trust to help me find a great match for me and have the knowledge to make the table play great.

Thank you for the quick response. I believe I am just out of his mapped area of coverage but I also believe they will work with me on a case by case basis. There is another billiards place near me Davitt's Billiards they I believe had some custom tables but I went there today and they are locked up lights off no store hours in general they may be closed for business.

You are just on the fringe of my typical service area. I would be happy to discuss options with you, and help you find a suitable table.

I have the capability, knowledge, and experience to modify subrail angles (calibrate subrails, as some call it), extend subrails, and adjust the pocket facing angles for desired performance.

My services are moderately priced, I am honest, and I keep a schedule. A simple recover will be a one day job. Rail modification will require transport back to my shop, with a return scheduled for a later date (generally 2 weeks, dependent on my availability).

I prefer written communication during the day, though I am available by phone after 5:00 on weekdays, anytime on weekends. bradsh98@gmail.com, 607-423-6481. Text messages are acceptable as well.

Just wanted to be sure this posting was laid to rest I purchased a New Diamond Pro-Am back in January paid for it then got it delivered and installed April 14. It seems that Diamond pretty much wants to service all their own tables they just need a substantial lead time to do it.
