Well,it took me a good while to get my ducks in a row and and get a plan made

with Jack Zimmerman (JZMechanix) but I FINALLY was able to do so.

Jack is as straight as an arrow and will help you decide which way to go when

you are wanting rail or table work done.

I decided on delivering the rails to Jack (Batesville,In.) and picking them back up

as well. I know he is very busy because every time we spoke AND he always

answered me back even with the dumbest question that I might have. It was a

real pleasure doing business with Jack and what I got in return was the

absolute best playing table I could have ever imagined. My Gandy Big G plays

as good or even better than any table that I've ever played on. Jack also finished

ahead of when he said he would and it was the BEST money I have ever spent

on anything pool related.

If you need any work for table I HIGHLY recommend JZMechanix for the job!

Thanks for the hard work and great work you did for me Mr.Z! You are a top

shelf guy and I appreciate and really do LOVE my table now.It plays fantastic!

As soon as I get pics of the table after setup I will post them

Bill,
Thanks for the kind words. It was a pleasure doing business with you and hope you continue to enjoy your table for many years to come!

Now this is what you want to read about. Things going the way they should, people keeping their word.
Thank you for posting this.

All Good

Exactly one month since I've had the rails back and many people have dropped in to

play on this table that (are you serious, you took those rails all the way to Batesville?)

people have asked. Then they play on it and say "Wow, this thing plays great!

I tell em if you want table work done correctly DO NOT use anyone that lives

close to here because they are all hacks and I can do as well as any of them.

I have seen all these so called mechanics work around here and I would NOT even

pay them to come and put my table together! This is the only thing that kills my soul,

I couldn't afford to have Jack come here to complete the set up.But all is well

Thanks again Jack! I love it!

Great review. Nice to hear things worked out well. When we come across a 1st class mechanic..... Use and recommend them. These people are hard to come by.

But, but what about Glen, he's the greatest ever, just ask him.

Trust me I'm the best rail guy.....and that's not trying to be ugly to anyone.
That's the fact....what I do with rails....no one does.
And I can back it up.
Not taking away from anyone trying to do rail work....glen showed a few how to do rails the way they do......and it's not even close to what I do to them...FACT
When people say their rails play great....how good of a player are they to know how good and how correctly the rails play.

Trust me....there's a lot more to making rails play correctly than have someone say my table plays perfect.

This is not a knock on Jack.....he does what he knows.....it's not can your table get the cue ball to travel 9 rails around the table....or does it get 5 rails up and don the table.

It's how th balls bank 3 or more rails....do they go short or long....how well does the object ball twist back on long rail banks.

A lot more then my table bounces and the pockets accept the balls down the rails.

I started people paying attention to all this rail work floating around yrs ago......Glen went around showing a few people how to patch up rails and now everyone's and rail expert.

It would really help if the guy getting the rails done....was at least half decent of a player to know how a table should play to start with.

Good luck with rail work
