Recommendation of cuemaker for southwest tribute cue

Oh maybe because they dont want to wait 12+ years and pay for the premium Southwest price. Those woukd be my first guesses.

Thank you for your common sense buddy , gladly appreciated !

As i expected , there will always be smar alecs who giving smart responses without reading the post.

I believe i did mention im on the southwest list but with 10 more years to go and southwest has stop ebony many years ago.

Also i stress that i wasnt trying to emulate a southwest like hit, i just wanted a southwest design that i adore.

The reason why u choose a custom cuemaker is becoz you 're paying money for your custom design and the playability of that particular cuemaker.

Thanks

Why so ?
Mind sharing ?

Pete's ring work is tight an can really take on a SW flavor but with his own stink on it. It's a good stink too. I've shot with only one Omen example, but I liked what I saw and felt. Good cues. I almost bought one for myself.... it was a toss up between Omen and Rack Runner. Pete lost : )

But I would love to get one later on down the line. Really good wood and finish.

Great cues but has he ever donea SW-style cue in his life? Owned 3 RB's and seen a ton of 'em and have never seen a SW-style.

Dammn right.
I was surprised at Richard Black recommendation.
I mean i have nothin but respect for the man but not for a southwest style project.

If i was looking to do a traditional 4 pointer , top 3 guys will be Tascarella, Jerry R n Richard black.
Got to get that off my bucket list soon !

Did Southwest copy McDermott on that particular cue?? Buy a McDermott and have it refinished, its a great hitting cue, I only decided to make it my player when I found out how nice it hit.

Better hurry. RB and JerryR won't be making cues much longer. I went to RB's shop in '83 and he was probably in his mid 40's then so he's gotta be pushin' 80. Super nice guy and really sweet cues. I've heard also that JerryR is winding his shop down also bur don't know exact details.
