I would personally jump all over this one if I were you. I just had my Predator SP converted by Mr. Varney and I am extremely impressed with it. Just my $.02.

I second this. Jump on it if you can.

At that price, Bama probably has offers already. A good guy to deal with too.

If interested I have a few SledgehammerII's left. I'll take $175 shipped. They are new.

Looks a lot like Kenny's old cue.

I just bought a Stinger by Jerico. You can not go wrong because he will give you a money back guarentee. If you do not like it return it no questions asked for a full refund. Any cuemaker that stands behind his work like that I will buy cues from all day. Not only does to break well but it is a great jump cue and they look great as well. All the other mentioned are great as well. I have had Varney, BK2, X breaker, the new Samsara and for the money J & J you can not go wrong.

pm sent long ago about a J&J.. not sure if its not something he wants or he hasnt been on much to check..

anyways.. right now i have just a few.. so they will not last long...

I thank everyone for the input and the offers. I have chosen the custom route and am having a break jumper made for myself. I'll give a little input after I have used it.

Cheers,
Jim

Send a PM to ChrisOnline. He can set you up well within your budget. I'll second the vote for the JnJ. Great price, hits a ton.
i would buy a deviney jump break they work awsome. thats what i have..

If you have a weak break you should try a g-10 ferrule tip combo on your break shaft it works awsome and ya get good controll and holds chalk ok to. JMO

I have never had a very good break and I don't crush the rack like some players can. I'm looking for a good break cue or break/jumper to use in my efforts to become a better breaker. I know it comes down to individual preference obviously but I could use some suggestions. I'm also not looking to break the bank either with a cutom breaker. I'd prefer to spend in the $300 range for a breaker. Any suggestions... I also apologize if there has been a thread already dedicated to this topic.

Cheers,
Jim

a while back inside pool did a poll on best break cues and predator bk2 won the top spot. however not a jump cue also. suprisingly #2 was fury j/b. ive had every j/b on the market and fury was the best for the $$$$$. like a sledgehammer but slimmer so you can throw it faster and the leather wrap gives you really good grip. for the price about 150$ its much better then sledgehammer pred bk2 or xbreaker that cost 300-400$ try it you wont regret it! i sold my sledgehammer immediatly made by mike not the junk ones now. THE LEATHER IS THE KEY...
