The little bumpers on the bottom were not included in the case I bought off ebay and which needs extensive reconditioning.

Where can I get the feet/bumpers for the bottom of the case?

Thanks, Jim

They are called luggage feet. I would start at a hardware store, like a Westlake Hardware if you have one. If not, look for luggage repair or a shoe repair shop.

Ohio Travel Bag is a place you can look for what you want. www.ohiotravelbag.com They have minimum order though so you probably want to ask them who their local customers are nearest you. Generally any luggage repair shop will have suitable feet.

Depending on the type of case and the repair you are doing you may want to look at furniture tacks. You can generally find some selection of those at Home Depot.

If you send me pictures to my email I can walk you through what you need to do if you don't already know.

Thanks for the help guys. The local leather shop also suggest the Ohio connection and also mentioned the minimum order. Guess I'll have to find an old case and steal a set of feets. :groucho:

I should have thought of that while attending the ACS/Pechaurer tournament yesterday. There were lots of unattended cases sitting around.

Kidding of course... but speaking of cases at the tournament yesterday I noticed a marked trend towards very lightweight "throw away" type cases. The 3x5 spring loaded ones especially. In fact, I remember seeing only one "traditional" case, a Instroke Buffalo and no Justis or Whitten or other higher priced cases. I think Cuaba had his Fellini but that was the only fancy case I saw. I always get a little freaked about taking my nice stuff out in public. Worry that the case will draw the attention of someone whose attention I do NOT want.

John... I'm still mentally building the case I want you to physically build for me.
