is the reed circle the same ball as a blue circle???
if i have a circle and a dot confused ok to correct me

The blue circle is the standard cue ball that comes with Brunswick Centennials. I was told that more than one company makes the red circle, which is why prices vary so much, and significantly cheaper than the Measles that Aramith makes.
I thought the blue circle was a centennial ball and the red circle was an aramith ball?

Different cue balls

MOST OF THEM ARE DIFFERENT WEIGHTS!

The red DOT is almost 1 oz more in weight then blue circle & Red Circle.

Red DOT is a Dynamo bar table ball. VERY heavy.

Red circle is made by Aramith. It is a different resin composition than the blue circle. It plays a bit bouncier and "feels" lighter, but is typically around 5.95 oz.

Blue circle is the Brunswick Centennial ball, manufactured by Aramith (Saluc) for Brunswick. It usually weight very close to 6.00 oz. I consider this the "standard" in cueballs, as it plays very neutral.

Aramith red logo is the super aramith pro cue ball. Obviously made by Aramith. This one has a similar resin composition to the centennial but has a different surface. The surface is some specially hardened thing. The ball (and the whole super aramith set) play "harder" than the centennials. It gives me the impression that the balls don't compress at all, the contact between them seems somewhat sharper. The cueball is typically about 5.95 oz, and plays a hair lighter than the centennial, but also plays different. Because the surface is very hard, the ball plays "slipperier". It seems to slide more than a blue circle or red circle ball. This can actually give the illusion that it plays *heavier*, but on a straight draw shot it seems to play lighter and roll a hair farther.

Just my $0.02.
