We are having a partner’s handicapped Straight Pool Tournament next Saturday at Red Shoes Billiards. People are given a handicap as we do at all the handicapped tournaments, based upon our opinion as to how well you play. Then we pair up people from the higher half of the handicap spectrum with people from the lower end of the spectrum. We add the handicaps together, divide by two and that is the target score of that particular team. Once we figure out how many are playing and where people fit in, you are free to pick your own partners as long as one of you is in the higher bracket and one is in the lower bracket. If the handicaps are correct, it should not matter.
