refinish a cue ????

I am wondering how the cue builders save the cue builders signator when refinshing a cue?

Proficient Billiards 717.478.8283 I'm not sure how it's done either? call these guys ask for Scot, they are the best in the re-finish business

Finish

HUGE and powerful magnifying light, pin point accurate finish removal tools, and a LOT of time and patience..Works for me

The ability to forge would come in handy, but it would be unethical unless you ask the cuemaker and the cue owner if they would allow it..just my 2 pennys worth....

That reminds me -- I once had a signed cue refinished by someone other than the maker. The signature was not supposed to be sanded off. When I got the cue back, the signature was upside down and crooked (compared to the original), and the repair person said nothing about it. Fortunately I had "before" pictures. I sent it back to the cue's maker to be redone.
