refinish of an old rich cue?? we think???

did this cue for the owner of SNOOKERS, bill nolan, in cincinnati
we both thought it might be a RICH?????
he said he had this cue for years, won it off someone?, he couldn't remember for sure where & how he got it
it weighed about 22oz. all cocobola
weight 19.50 oz. when completed

It's interesting. It looks like one of the Rich cues from the mid 1970's that were made overseas. Then the shaft with the long pilot tenon and the aluminum insert looks like it's from a National cue. The joint is almost an exact copy of the Brunswick joint used on Willie Hoppe's. All of this is no big surprise because those were copied overseas as well.

Anyway, your version of the cue, the conversion, came out really well and it looks like you took that turd and made it into a pool cue.

Brent, I would sincerely like to say that we are watching your work evolve. I hope you continue doing what you are doing because it's very interesting, you're having fun with it, and were having fun watching.

I like the fact that you will work on any cue.

i'd rather screw that up than a nice titlist :rolleyes:
i got a couple that aren't just "any cue" in the works.
keeping those on the sly till the right time.
did i mention titlists??? :)
