REFUND DEMANDED for Archer vs. Strickland match!

I just got home and have read through a number of these posts. WE STAND GOOD for any refunds. What upsets me more than anything is I know some of you personally. I am amazed that some of you who know me have such little faith in me that you could not call me and ask whats up. Instead you decided to come on here and bash my event, You know who you are. Its cool if you have a problem and as I have explained we will deal with it, just shocked that you didn't call me first.

I will be reviewing all threads about this weekend and will post my thank you to those involved and also trying to clear up any problems with each thread I see.

Mark,

Mark, I would like you to know that I think you have done a great job dealing with this situation. I would purchase another ppv match that you put together in the future. You seam like a class act and a true professional.

I do believe however that the ball was dropped and in a big way. I don't want to rehash anything or further mention anymore names, but people on your side of the stream were informed of the problems with the stream and made a conscious decision of not acknowleding nor addressing the situation. This party went even further making a premature comment that there will be no refund.

I truly believe people on this forum do not hold you responsible nor would they hesitate to purchase any future ppv event that you produce. Unfotunately I can not say the same about other parties that were involved in this most recent challenge match.

With all that has been said and done, I would like to thank you for your efforts in bringing this match to fruition.

Thank you

I've known you for what almost 20 years Sam or close to it, and you wouldn't do that, you would do the proper, respectful, thing. You would have PM'd him or shot an email and waited for a response.

You're one of the few good guys Sam.

I had no idea who was in charge of the whole PPV thing. I didn't like this whole thread going this direction. I still don't think it warranted coming here and posting it. It seems that it is getting handled properly.

I learned a phrase a long time ago, back in the 80's that goes, "do the right thing,,,, because it's the right thing to do. " I try to remember that,

Mark,

Mark,

I just dropped my paypal dispute. It was a first class event plagued by internet difficulties.

I do think an explanation from TV Mike is in order, more for his company's sake than yours.

I would like to see more exciting matches like this in the future.

Chris

Fraud is a little harsh. While it obviously was not handled well, I don't think anyone set out on a premeditated plan to to swindle you out of your money. Quite the opposite. I think they had the best of intentions but things went wrong and the resulting problem probably could have been handled better.
I too don't think "they" (whoever that is) planned a premeditated swindle.
But when things went bad, the "tv mike" guy didnt have the stones or the authority to immediately say....."for those who are in the tapioca here, dispute it with PayPal or your credit card company and get a refund..I wont fight you on it".
BUT HE DIDN'T DO THAT.
All he did was start cutting up jackpots....and from that point on, it smelled like fraud in the oven.
Save the innocuous platitudes and fork over the money. Then the next time you deal, keep them hands up on top of the table, don't be making any funny signs with your hands to other players, don't be slipping any wildies down there between your knees, and do NOT try a 2-hand shift on me after the cut or anywhere else because I will catch you. And no necktie seconds either.
The we can ALLLLLL be friends.
:boring2:
