Why cant they all make a website like Tiger Planet Pools ???

They have all the pictures, Full Brackets. Everything.

The Joss has a great tour but no website. I know the www.joss9balltour.com website but that doesnt come close to the tiger planet pool.

I think the tiger tour has the most ppl in it too. seems they always have around 90 somthing ppl.

That is just because we are awesome and the others are not! ;)

In all seriousness, the Tiger Pool Tour is a very tightly run ship all thanks to many years of hard work by Cecilia Strain (nineballcc), Andy Lincoln (alinco) and Nick Prinsloo (PrinsNick). All of whom are AZR's (AZ Forum Name in parenthesis).

The website is the brainchild of Nick Prinsloo from a few years back. He set up the database and designed all of the pages. And took a few thousand pictures...and was the 8 ball division player of the year last year!

I maintain the results, pointslist and brackets as well as write up the stories of the events.

Ceci is a wiz at keeping the players/sponsor/room owners all happy. And of course she runs the show from early Saturday morning to late Sunday night or occasionally Friday night to early Monday morning!

Seems the above combination keeps the players comin' back for more! It helps in that all 3 of us are enthusiastic players.

Andy

In the Florida tour's case, John Ditoro is not the most comfortable with computers. It would take the help (free help I might add since we all know how well pool pays) of someone in the webdesign business to help John. I can tell you that at the very worst, I plan to post on AZB updates from the tour for alot of the South Florida stops, or try to at least.

Wow - Thanks!

Cheemagun - Thanks for the compliments. Andy hit the nail on the head - it's an awesome combination of talents and a lot of enthusiasm! Hopefully, you'll come out and play with us some day to get the full experience!

I do have to say though - we have an area that is abundant in competition level players, and gracious host rooms! Without them, and without the sponsors - we truly wouldn't be where we are today!

Nick doesn't visit the forums much anymore - but any of you are interested in his web design services, send me a PM and I'll get it to him.
