I lived in Japan many years ago and met Richard Helmstetter while he was still living there and running the Adam CO. in Iruma, Japan.
Over the years, the same company has produced many lines of cues other than those with the Adam name on them.
Balabushka Signature cues (the clones)..now being made by somebody else in China.
I know Competition Sports had and still has cues made by Adam, Japan ( I have one...a Balabushka-looking cue without the Balabushka signature - the Hall of Fame series).
The company also makes Mezz Cues from what I've heard.
What is the relationship for all the different brands and names? Are they made in the same factory with the same employees?
Every cue that I've seen made by them has very good quality for production cues.
