Hey Keith,
Do you remember Sean Azares? This was 1989-90/91, you were living in Nashville, TN for awhile. To jog your memory - Sean and I were playing alot of bar box action along with Eugene the Machine, Jerry Bento, Larry Price, Mark Hatch, etc.

We had a few great road trips, then Sean went back to Alaska to do his family fish thing. Then we all moved and would bump into each other on the road occassionally. Except for Sean - haven't seen or heard from him in years. You seen him around anywhere or know what happened to him?

Thanks!

He played in the BCA in Las Vegas about 8 years ago. Still had an Alaska address. I think he was hanging around with Mark Griffin at the time. You could try getting in touch with Mark. Sean was quite a good player. Played under a different name when I first met him in Chicago. Can't remember it for the life of me though.

Hey, Thanks so much for the reply. I'll try to get in touch with Mark.

saw Sean at Derby City this year

:p You can read quite a bit about Sean in my book, The Green Felt Jungle, he lived with me and my family for a while and was a very good hustler and player. I saw him for the first time in about 10 years at this year's Derby City Classic. Super kid, don't play quite like he used to, but still lives in Alaska, I'll be going there in a few weeks, hope to run into him. :p :D :p

Sean Azares is indeed still in Alaska. He is going by the name of Tony Azares. You could probably find someone at the Anchorage Billiard Palace who would know how to contact him. Bill Stock, BCA Pool League

VonRhett, I haven't seen Sean since those days in Nashville either. He was a nice kid and a good player himself. I let him stay at my house, I think as you know, and he was very well mannered. A good guy to bet on, too! ;)
