i think i read somewhere that ginky gave korr the 5 ball and the breaks to 11 and won. i dont remember where.

I still think a Battle of the Sexes for the Title Best Pool Player in the World would be an interesting competition of the Girls verses the Boys.

As from where I sit I do not see any Major Advantages of the Men's Superior Strength in the game of Pool, and as Women are More Detailed Oriented, and have the Ability to have A Softer Touch, think the Girl could have a Slight Edge.

Remember years ago at a Local Truckers Rodeo, it was a Girl who won the event to everyone surprise.

As her ability to Drive, and Back them Big Rigs was Superior to the Boys in the Obstacles of the Trucker Rodeo.

She had a Gentler touch, and that gave her the Winning Edge as she was able to Out Maneuver the boys in the event.

Coltrain gave Allison the 7-ball and robbed her. Allison was offered a huge spot against Efren and she turned it down.
Women have softer touch? They should win all straight-rail competitions then.
Why are the male pros much better than the female pros?
I dunno.
Why don't sharks get cancer? Scienctists dunno either.

I was there sweating it when that match took place at Amsterdam East in late 2000, and, as you said, Ginky gave Karen five on eleven and the breaks. However, they split the two sets they played, with both going 11 - 10. Karen was ranked #2 on the WPBA tour at the time. Fantastic match!

It's easy...at events where they have mens and womens competition after the the two champs are decided they should play each other for Overall champ. Men would win most overalls but I'd bet not all!

I think they already did this years ago in Santa Rosa,CA. I think it came down to CJ Wiley playing against Allison Fischer or Vivian. CJ won handily. I think it was on ESPN.

Allison,Corr, and Jeanette all have competed against men and occasionally done well. Jeanette Lee isn't playing nine ball as consistently well as Corr or Allison but she may have the best record against men.

She did very well at the DCC one year (2003 maybe?) and she has beaten a number of top male players at 14.1. I think she has run either a 132 or 152, I'm not exactly sure but its up there. Thats strong enough to compete with almost anyone (except Holmann, that guy is crushing all that stand before him at 14.1 this year)

How about giving the ladies all the breaks with the Sardo rack in a race to 9 and see who wins? I think they could have some great matches with some kind of handicapping.
