Ok guys, it's Mothers Day this Sunday. This is your reminder.

And to the girls, Happy Mothers Day Ladies! Hope you have a great day!

Just talked to mine last night. She never needs anything. Sometimes I'd like to get her something other than flowers or taking her to diner. Maybe we could continue this with some ideas of what to get mom for mothers day.

Better still, if you still live at home, why don't you beat her up. My mam used to beat me up every morning when I was little. When I was about 16 I thought it was about time I beat her up for a change. She seemed to appreciate me more after that.

It was a lesson I took into my marriage too. I like to beat my wife up now and then just to keep things fresh. You should try it. She will thank you for it.

There's the solution right there... instead of taking her to the diner as usual, take her somewhere nice instead.

Seriously though, my old Mum likes books, candy, and Harvey's Shooting sherry.

Things, things, things. She can buy herself things, but she can't beat herself up can she? What sort of people are you? Is an extra hour in bed of a morning so important to you? Make breakfast for once you ungrateful sods.

If you can visit her DO IT. It is probably the most important gift you can give her. This will be my 2nd Mothers Day without her. So I know how precious time with her was. So give up your pool game this weekend and visit your Mom. Wish I could.

Mine is gone about 17 years, and die under mysterious circumstances. The Cops would do nothing.

Also don't forget WWII vets.
This is the 60-year anniversary of VE Day!

Just to thank Edyie for that Mothers Day greeting and to let everyone know that I had a great day. All three of my children and their other halfs were here, along with all 6 of my grandchildren. I called my Mom who is visiting in Louisiana and she has a gift waiting on her when she gets back, since she's in La and I will be in Vegas when she gets back. We had a cook out of hamburgers and hotdogs and I got flowers from hubby and oldest grandson Tyler. The two youngest grandsons gave me a brag book that they made with pics in it(with their mom's help). The three girls gave a flower pot with some yellow fake daisys and a grandma saying. Oldest daughter gave me a little flower pot with a windmill in it that looks like a flower. It was a good day. I do believe that they will miss me for the month I will be in Vegas. Youngest daughter got us matching pinky panda rings too.
