Rack 5 has our first miss from Filler. But of course he leaves the US hooked. CR plays a pretty good safety on Shaw, who kicks it but leaves Sky a shot at the 3. The US should be out ...maybe...

Sky is all bust and no balls with his break, but leaves Shaw a tough table length shot from the foot rail. Shaw drills it, but leaves Filler on the 50 yard line for the 2
Filler plays safe, but leaves CR a kick at the two in the bottom corner. CR plays a touch safe and Shaw will kick off the bottom rail. Both ball end up in the corner at the top with no shot for SKY. THE SAFETY BATTLE continues!
Sky plays a good safe and gives Filler the bedroom eyes. It distracts Filler enough that he misses the ball! BIH for CR!

CR tries a beauty of a carom for the early nine, but it is hanging on air in the corner. Shaw plays a safe and leaves a tough one for SKY. Sky gets unlucky catches a tit and leaves Filler with a shot...6 ball is tied up though.

Well, here is a chance for Cory to get a W against the young Gorst. The US, as is normal this year, lose the lag.

Pretty straight forward layout with no real problems. Should be a quick 1-0 lead before I finish typing this...

BUt hen again, it is Cory. Gets out of position now he is in trouble. Might have to play safe. He tries, but leaves the 3 ball in the corner for what should be a makeable jump shot for Fedor.
