Cue #1

Joint- Brass 5/16-14

Forearm-Straight grain Maple

Points and Veneers-4 brazilian rose wood points with 4 veneers Black,Green, orange, and Natural.

Buttsleeve- Brazilian rose wood

Wrap- Original White w/green spec

20.5oz

ferrule is cracked, no tip. (will fix with any ferrule exept ivory for free, and tip of your choice free).

I beleave that under the wrap which I'm not willing to take off, there is either a half splice or a Full splice. Not a Short splice as most cues have. I bought this cue for my collection, then as I started making cues I thought about converting it, but this is a collectors peice and I think some one who would enjoy it for what it is should have it.

cue is straight and original exept for I think the idiot I got it from dremeled his initials DA, on the cue, and #24, maybe some nascar thing?

The picture at the bottum is Rempe holding his cue wearing bell bottums.

Make Me a Realistic offer, may consider trade or partial trade.

Cue #3 One piece butt Light BEM

Wow,

Jim Rempe was in Iowa for and exibition about 6 years ago, and a small collector friend of mine who owns 7, 3 like mine, took Jim to dinner, and asked Jim what he thought they were worth, he said between $600 and $1000 depending on condition.

I'm not Looking for $1000. But Jim or any one else who I've talked to about these cues have never mentioned them using the word junk. But I'm sure that's what you my have heard and just passing the word along.

Thanks

You could be right

I asked him about a bifferent cue. I thought it was a Joss. Jimi was saying if it was a Helmstetter it had little value as opposed to the old Joss cues. I will say my JR-8 is the only production cue I own. And Jimi might have rembered me with my Balabushka when I was 14. He is a close family friend.
The old helmstetter cue I have is full splice and like yours it has the origional wrap, Unlike yours the handle is bent but I woun't have it changed and loose the full splice.
Here is a look! It is a keeper.
Thanks and good luck!
Nick

Not right now!

The bumper is the origional brown one. I have the newer light brown bumper but it is for a set screw type weight bolt. The buttcap is cracked and still this beat to $hit cue is one sweet player. It's shaft was made by Jerry Rauenzahn. That can't hurt either!
Thank you:)

Funny thing

This cue is totally unlogoed!! I have seen the poster with this models line of cues and another AZer posted the old flyer also with this thing in the middle of it. He wanted to buy it but had a back surgery and needed to be conservative. Hope he is well!

this cue is 100% dead straight, has 2 original 13mm shafts, and plays as good as any cue on earth. No I am not kidding.

I would like to have that #7

If they were made in the us, they would be getting the respect they deserve!

P.S. not all adams had logos, including the "champion series" cues. I.E. rempe, mizerak, murphy.hopkins, but they are still the same model #

Nick, that was me, I have just gotten back to work this week. Hell of a way to spend a summer!

Inever saw any with the Logo on the Butt cap. My Jim Rempe is a late 70's Adams, Esquire JR-3. Birdseye Maple, 5/16 X18 SS joint.
