I can't say enough GOOD things about the IPT website. It seems to keep getting better and better after each event. The ticker at the top is FANTASTIC and up to date. Talk about immediate gratification! :D

Whoever is the IPT webmaster deserves the highest honors. Never have I experienced live coverage like this for pool. It's the absolute nuts! :p

Speaking of nuts, whatever happened to the NUTS thingie?

There's never been nothing like it in pool- that is for sure.

Still I cant believe I'm home on this first nice day in a week slumped in my chair, aggravating my aching back, watching those little scores go by.

Mike Z. beat Karen Corr 8-6. Linda said that was the match that he was most worried about so they should be happy with his start.

You're not alone! The real-time coverage is wonderful. Then there's the charts with the percentages provided for the inquiring minds. I think it is a good idea to have only one scorecard for the players to share, as opposed to each keeping their own individually. This was a good change in the tournament format, IMO.

The IPT has transparency, something that has been sorely lacking. Finally, there's REAL POOL, REAL MONEY, with REAL RULES for all to see. :)

Hip, hip, hooray. IPT is leading the way! :D

Just heard from Keith via cell phone, and he and Dee Adkins of Ohio were heading up to the tournament room to give me the scores. I told him that he didn't have to because the IPT website was providing EVERYTHING real time!

He told me that at the players meeting, they gave each participant a computer bag with their name printed on it, along with some other goodies. Man, I can't wait to see it! :p

Delmar Racetrack has a million-and-a-half carryover today, and Keith is en route to make a little wager, hoping to win some chump change along the way. :o

He also said that this venue site in Reno is EXCELLENT and better than the Venetian in Vegas. I can't wait to see some pictures of the tournament room. I like the fact that they have overhead lamps this time too. :)

Luat just had 7 break and runs against Jones! Luat is currently 2-0.

I'm thinking that his tough group would actually prefer to play against Ronnie than Luat.

Kiamco just beat Hohmann 8-3.

Having seen Kiamco win his tour card in Chelmsford, I'm not too shocked by the outcome of the match. What was shocking was Warren not advancing through the first round last tournament. I don't think that'll be the case this tournament.
