I havnt heard squawt for december they did away with june 1 or 2 years ago and the bar tourny 1 or to years to improve or they are out also.
I heard last week the new owners of the Sands is in finacial trouble the Teribles own several casino\ hotels and gas stations.
That's about it.

It's been 2 years ago this month that they discontinued the June event. A shame too, as the attendance seemed to be very good for the June event; the brackets always seemed full...not sure what the reasoning behind it was.

It always begins with the USPPA tournament on the Friday following Thanksgiving Day. That is, 8 days after Thanksgiving. The Handicap event runs Friday thru Monday, and the Open follows. Tony Annigoni expects this tournament to be part of the pro tour (with tour points) in December 2009.
