Rep Buttons

I don't want to stir up any controversy here but I don't know why the rep buttons are not removed from this forum. I see all the time arguments in threads and people getting bad reps because they have an opinion or someone reads their text as being a wise crack. This is a forum where people from ALL walks of life who love the game of pool can converse. Not everybody is going to agree but is there a need to red rep people because of it. It is as bad as I am gonna tell momma on you. Very childish in the least in my opinion.

it is sad but true that some people do use the red rep to attack people because of their opinions. i do believe however that they do serve a purpose in most cases for the mods to see if someone really doesnt belong here.

There was a post about rep in the NPR room a couple weeks ago. Might want to look into that post and see what people have to say.
