How do you repair your REP?

I have never done any wrong on here...but somehow someone's put the hit on my REP?

I can't believe that this has happened.

I've bought quite a few cues off of here and I pay immediately.

I've never had any cross words with anyone.

Why would someone do this to me?

THANK YOU TO EVERYBODY WHO HAS HELPED ME WITH REP!
I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP!!!

If someone left you a negative itrader then I could understand your concern. If you're saying someone left you a negative rep, then I'd like to point out a few things.

1. A #1 important is that "rep" on here is worthless.

2. Your rep is showing green to everyone, not red. If someone left you a negative rep, no one would've known if you hadn't said so.

3. Groups of friends rep each other for no other reason than to build up their points and the points only matter to them.

4. People have offered rep points for something as simple as posting in their thread. I think there has even been a "rep orgy" thread or two in the past.

Because of the rampant worthless repping and groups of people conspiring to to move their friends up the list, the rep system has zero validity.

Some people get bent out of shape when someone leaves them a negative post. I personally couldn't care less. If I get left a negative rep, I either said something that offended someone, or someone that doesn't have thick skin didn't like what I said, or I was out of line in some way. Once in awhile you'll get one simply because someone doesn't like you for whatever reason. We can't please everyone and not everyone is going to like us.

I leave negative rep when I think someone is completely out of line. Its just my way of letting them know that I disagree without starting a flame war in the thread.

If you know that it was undeserved, don't worry about it. The rep system is severly flawed and doesn't mean much anymore.

If you had sucessful transactions with AZ members, make sure that you get the iTrder feedback from them. The iTrader is WAAAAAY more important than rep.

Best,

Russ.....

It should have listed the thread. I wouldn't worry about it, you're still showing strong rep.

Could have been a mistake or you could have run into somebody here with "issues". I got red rep only one time, and it was for inquiring about purchasing a cue from a private party and somebody didn't like the maker of the cue.

Those are the times I'm glad this is the internet and I don't know some of these people in person.

Tell me about it. I got bad rep from a person who said my thread was in bad taste. He continues to both follow and participate in the tasteless thread. That second I realized, rep don't mean anything here. You quickly find out who are the good guys and who are the JO's. The good guys deal with you over the internet the same way they would deal with you man to man. The JO's most certainly do not.
Luckily there seems to be a preponderance of good guys here.
