Hi everyone,

Looking for someone that can repair a small crack on my Predator SP2 Revo cue butt.

Predator won't repair it themselves and suggested I look for a local cue repair place. Looking online, I did not find anyone that might do it (I am in Jacksonville, FL).

It is cosmetic, but if I find someone that is confident that they can fix it... I would like to get it fixed...

Below are the pictures of the cue butt...

I think it's telling that Predator want repair their own product..
Wood joint collar and buttcap have a tendency to end up this way. The problem with your cue is that it's either some kind of stain or stabilized and coloured wood, which would make it hard to to match a replacement joint collar. Seeing that the points are painted on, makes refinishing/blending new and old clear fraught with potential problems..
I would not take on a job like that and I think you will find similar feedback from other cue makers

Best of luck.

That's disappointing that predator won't take care of there own. I play with a old predator but I'm not sure id buy anything new any more

Might have better luck getting someone to put a black phenolic collar on if the op would be okay with that look.

Thanks, everyone!!!

I've emailed a few pictures (below) to Proficient Billiards.

Just curious as to how that happened. Can't see that happening just from normal use. Did the cue fall against something?
