Repairing It's George case

An It's George case with someones name on the top of the lid (plastic). This is not a hack job, it was done really nice looks like old English style. But, it is someone else name. Can this be removed or replaced?

I bet a TAR patch would look pretty good.

Look up Ron Thomas- he's a casebuilder in Lafayette, LA and builds that style of case. He could tell you.
John Barton could tell you as well, since he's building that style, too- but I think shipping to China would be cost-prohibitive.

Magic Marker or Sharpie would probably make it less noticeable.

Name engraving was a factory option.
You might want to just leave it alone engraved cases dont come up very often.

If it was mine I'd probably have a plate of somesort engraved w/my name and glued to the top.

I have the same problem..I have an original it's george with joss ingraved on the top. I don't play with joss anymore so now it just collects dust lol
