Replacing a beat-up GC II ball box

As the subject implies, the ball box on my GC II is pretty beat up. The metal trim is long gone and the box is so beat up that a ball pocketed in the far corner gets up enough speed to bounce out. Also, the inner cork(?) lining is beat to crap.

I looked around on classicbilliards and they have the trim piece but no boxes (that I saw, anyway). Do you guys replace them with original boxes or rebuild them from scratch? If the latter, are measured drawings available to the public?

Thanks

Eartier today I saw that Ken has the 1/4 inch thick cork in stock in a sheet. He also has some ball boxes available-at least for the Anniversary, I believe.

I have been buying some GCII pieces recently and Ken has been very helpful.

Maybe call him directly and talk to him-I think he keeps some used GC parts around. ( I just bot a used foot for my GCII).

Hopefully, others might be able to steer you to a used ball box too.

Take care

Donny Wessels/SD billiards out here in SoCal referred me to Ken- Thank you Donny.
