Replacing the ferrule on a graphite cue

No different than replacing the ferrule on any cue. If the tenon is broken the shaft will have to be center drilled and have a new tenon installed for the new ferrule.

The cost will vary from place to place and repairman to repairman.

It's something I'd like to do myself.. if you could give me step by step instructions, that would be great.
Thanks for the help!

OK this is what I would do:

Remove the old ferrule or if it is broken off I would face off the end of the shaft so that it is flat. Once the old ferrule is removed use a 5 minute epoxy and glue a new one on, when the epoxy has dried the ferrule will need to be machined down to the size of the shaft. If the old ferrule was broken off again face the end of the shaft flat and then bore a hole in the end of the shaft 1 1/2 inches deep 5/16 in diameter.

Turn a piece of Maple to the above diameter and install it leaving 1 inch exposed, when the epxoy drys thread the new tenon and install the new ferrule.

Hope this helps and good luck.
