as a growing avid pool lover, i am also a mountain bike racer and junkiee... i buy sell on ebay for that too.. EVERY weekend, there's probably hundreds of high end bikes auctions that are phonies.... just can't believe how prevelent it is in bike goods on ebay and not in cues...... yes- i've seen more and more frauds on cues over the past 6 months, but there are fairly easy to pick out compared to some of the bike frauds....
<i've dealt with nregaldo and they are good sellers-kinda lying in their description of selling off husbands collection i think-but still good sellers>

ebay is risky, i tell all my freinds if they are starting to use it, i'll help and way back even wrote a bunch of my biking buddies a 'guidelines' article to help. I've been 'ebayin' since the beginning of '00 and seen alot of crap.. my bud got scammed for 10k on bikes..... <we all learned some stuff from that one>

i love this forum as i don't think a phoney cue auction would ever go undetected...

i do have a ?? for all ya though- i sold a philippi sneaky to a guy<hellblood10 (21)> and i did state in my auction for US bidders only. I didn't notice his location until after he sent me an email hell do paypal and get back to me in a few days as it's the holiday over there.... since then I've been getting what i think/know is fraudulent 'paypal account is being limited' emails see very bad one below: HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS ISSUE OR DEALING WITH THIS HELLBLOOD<2 QUESTIONS I GUESS MAYBE UNRELATED>

HERE'S EMAIL: <NOTICE VERY LOVELY SPELLING> <LOG IN LINK LOOKS SAME AS MY PAYPAL LOGIN LINK BUT I NEVER CLICKED IT AND NEVER WILL... I JUST WENT TO MY USUAL LOG IN AND CHANGED MY PASSWORD>

Never click on and navigate from a link received in an email (phishing), it is just asking for trouble as a result of a scam.

Edit - Using the PayPal theme is a common thing, I get one of these scam emails with link every few weeks.

This Hellblood fellow has bidded on some of my cues in the past, but he never won as yet... he is Taiwanese. But i have never dont any checks on him. u have his name? i got a few taiwan collector frens perhaps they can enlighten..

its Chinese New Year in Taiwan and most chinese speaking countries, i believe their holiday extends till friday.

As for the Paypal scam i dont think it come from him. Speaking of the paypal scam, one interesting... the whole msg sent to me is actually a .jpg file, so u cant cut the msg and sent to paypal as paypal requested...i used to report to paypal all the time on such things, so i think unlike those nigerian gold scammers, the paypal ones actually evolved...
Also, if u highlight the whole JPG with the shift key, u see the message "MARTHA STEWART IS GOD"... well at least they have some humor

and few taiwanese use paypal... so u have to bear with the guy...

Well u have to be wary of some international buyers but not all haha...people like me and thediamond simon is pretty basically sweet and innocent :D

We get a ton of e-mails from paypal and e-bay. All phoney. The best thing to do is forward the message to: spoof@ebay.com. Paypal is a sibsidiary of E-bay, so send from Paypal and E-bay to the same address. they will respond to you via e-mail usually within the day.
If either paypal or e-bay wants or needs to tell you something, its usualy done through "my e-bay".

Pay Pal will only address you by your FIRST and LAST name in emails. They do not use "Pay Pal member" or anything like that.
