Restoring an Anniversary

Hello mechanics of AZB,

A table mechanic friend of mine had an opportunity to pick up 5 Anniversay tables, and needed some help, so he made me a deal on one of them, and now I am in the process of having it restored.

I am not going for a purist restoration. I am going for what I call a pool room feel in a residential setting restoration.

From this thread showing off my Sport King for sale, you will see that I had the pocket castings brass plated and new aprons made to give the effect I was after. I really do like this Sport King, it has only been stapled on 5-6 times in it's life, and the slates are flawless for Pennsylvania slates.

What I need help with in this thread is finding a plating shop that will brass plate those big bands on the pedestals. I bought a new reproduction set from Muellers, however I cannot find anyone in my area willing to brass plate them. I can get the castings and the emblem done, but not those bands.

If anyone knows where I could get these plated, that information would be my best Christmas present this year :)

If you have trouble PM me and I will get you names and numbers, I would
also need the dimensions of the parts

I really like the Anniversary tables if I were going to do an unconventional restoration like the one you're doing I would completely eliminate the bands around the legs, I saw one redone in this fashion and he had the corners powder coated black and the lines in the aprons painted black, it was pretty sharp. A friend of mine builds reproduction ball boxes, aprons and rails for these tables if you need any of those.
