Sounds like a horror headline from any pool hall. Billy Bob, tell us what you thought about it.. "Well, you know, at first it was OK but after my second chili and 4th beer, I tried to hold it in, but at the end my pants looked like I came out of one of dem mud courses. I sure do hope dey fix dat batroom quick right you know."

I don't want to "derail" lol but let's be honest. Many of the top players " need " a bathroom break every so often. Not just then but now too. Who are we to deprive??? Odds are the opponent can just go smoke and everyone is happy and all is well.

You bet. I’d rather eat a fried hogfish than spend 4 hours in a pool hall so I can play 5 games of 8 or 9 ball with a bunch of drunks trying to play their way to Lost Vagas to bring home a trophy the size of a paperweight.
Not all leagues are created equal. Mine last two hours at the most, great equipment, and (mostly) friendly people. Very organized.
I think taking a break in between games if you’ve won the last rack or it’s YOUR turn to break the balls, kind of like tennis where you must go at the server’s pace.
2 breaks in a race to 4 is absurd.
7 racks of 9 ball shouldn’t take more than an hour. Unless your guzzling a gallon of water during this supposed hour of time.
I don’t see how anyone but a pregnant woman or someone with explosive diarrhea would need more than 1 bathroom break.
